Dr. Ocaña joined the Friendship team in 2018 after graduating from Texas A&M University, where she received a veterinary degree and a master’s degree in biomedical sciences. She attended Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi prior to that for undergraduate studies. Her veterinary interests include dermatology, preventative and urgent care.
Dr. Ocaña was born and raised in the San Antonio, Texas area. She spent several years in her early childhood residing in Mexico, where she became fluent in Spanish. She loves traveling to places for hiking, camping, and experiencing wildlife! Her favorite hobbies include painting, calligraphy, and photography.
